Hey, guys, I was around in 2006 so I can speak on the issue of how BoB behaved and I can compare it to some of the activity from BoB's foes.

My personal opinion is that you are right to say that BoB was arrogant and dismissive and deserved whole heartedly what they got. Especially considering the whole t20 issue... I mean don't you remember before it was an admitted fact that members of BoB were getting developer support how BoB kept screaming tinfoil hattery?

However, times have changed. During the year and a half I've been in-game I've noticed that the BoB opponents aren't too respectable either.

Lets take the Goons for instance. They've purposefully attempted to disrupt the game for all of us. So much so that their place of origin (and the community that they are loyal too) the SA forums have had to take measures to distance themselves from the overt activity of their members visa vis EvE Online and CCP.

Then you have a certain someone referring to MCs as Jews in a distasteful, hurtful, and sick manner. You've also got the Goons constant bombardment of the forums with their senseless drivel...

And when you link that to the Goons scamming people with Capitals who want to help fight BoB by letting them in the alliance long enough to kick them and gank them...

I for one begin to think of BoB a little differently. This isn't 2006 its almost 2008.

AGAIN, when one of the most vocal anti-bob alliances uses racial slurs, blows people up who want to help fight BoB, and generally disregards the health of the eve-community BoB starts to look like the "better" of the two evils.

That's just my 2 cents so feel free to ignore it (or if you are a goon feel free to spam me and refer to me as a member of a racial minority.)

Goons are the worst kind of public "Champion", kinda like some major groups that tried to conquer the world but failed because all the "Hero" talk was only there to cloak the actual result of this entire ordeal. Goons get to make there interlives worth living though the frustrations of others and grow bigger e-peens though the labors of EVE's real veteran s.
Mittani is the perfect example of someone who is truly pathetic, his post count alone shows were his priorities in life stand while he banters on about how Molle and gang did the exact same thing. Hypocrisy at its finest.

I know it could kill you to think about it Goonswarm but that dash you call a life when you logoff is the one that history actual cares about.
